Play Time around the House

Uh Oh Gigs up. Mama busted me playing instead of napping...

I just give her one of my devilish grins and she's putty in my hand.

Plus she's the one who has to sit me up so she really can't get mad...

Thanksgiving, Texas Style

We went to Amarillo Texas and stayed at my Great Granny Mac and Great Daddy Joe's house. Granny Mac borrowed some toys from her cousins and taught me how to drive a truck.
We sat around talking and laughing...
Then I freaked out because my Great Aunt Karen called and said she was on her way over and I hadn't done my hair yet.
But I got beautified in time Thank Goodness.

We took several five generation photos for the newspaper. There was Great Great Grandmother Ruth, Great Granny Mac, Grandpa Kyle or Daddy Mac as he now wants to be called, Daddy and Me.
It was hard to get us all smiling and looking at the same camera.
Nanny and I played and played. Behind us was a bird cage with lots of zebra finches and I had a blast looking at all those little birds twirping around.

This was the view on the way home. This was my first time seeing snow, Great Great Grandma Ruth said if we put my feet in the snow I wouldn't get whooping cough. Mama never got around to it though...maybe next trip.

This was how we all felt once we get home. Pooped!
(There were lots of other wonderful people there whose pictures aren't on Mama's camera. If we get ahold of those pictures I'll be sure to add them later. Till then here is a shout out to My Great Uncle Gary who is married to my Great Aunt Karen and their boys Billy and Ryan, then my great aunt stephanie and her husband david and their children Meredith and Colby, Great Daddy Joe, of course Grandma Sheryl and Grandpa Kyle and Aunties Kaci and Kari, and of course Mama and Daddy. I have a feeling I am forgetting someone that happens when you are my age)

When I'm sick I make sure and get plenty of cuddling time. This is my first time being sick and it is no fun. But mama and daddy take good care of me...

This is us at a local restaurant watching the cowboys lose to the patriots, but that's okay we'll see them at the superbowl.
Daddy and I like to do our hair the same and watch football on Sundays...
and of course nap during half time.
I help mama wrap gifts...
Okay she does all the work and I have all the fun!

It's hard work keeping my parents entertained but someone has to do it.

Kayla's First Halloween

Mama and Daddy took me to a local church fundraiser where I got to pickout my very own pumpkin for Halloween.
I also got to play with the big pumpkins that Mama and Daddy got for themselves.
I really liked this one!
