Our Big Sledding Day

My very first ride in a sleigh ever!

We (or should I say Francis) shoveled us a path up the hill

She loved it! and since Doyle made sure she was okay he was back up the hill

Now it was Kari's turn

All Better, ready to go again!

Francis just had to do it differently

Now it was Grandma's turn

This is Pa checking out the sled and thinking Okay maybe I'l go

Pa had to get his shirt ready. he didn't want to end up like Auntie Kari!

It was a long walk up that hill...

All this hard work makes me need a break!

But Daddy gets me pumped again

and even mama was there! We had such a good time!

Christmas 08

Daddy was outside cleaning snow and he found this icicle!
It was cold and wet!

Mommy and I spent the day before getting ready for Santa. We made him cookies

I had the important job of picking out the cookie dough to put in the sugar.

I was soooo excited to see Santa. I kept asking to go to sleep all evening cause they told me Santa comes when I go Nigh Nigh, and I thought well what are we waiting for put me to bed! But Mommy said we couldn't go to sleep just yet so we made "Snickerdoodles" instead.

The best part was making sure they tasted good for Santa.

Even Doyle took part in some yule tide begging.

The next morning Santa had brought all these cool toys that I couldn't wait to play with.

The day after Christmas we went to work to clean up the snow

First Doyle and I had to examine this stuff and see what we were working with

I fell alot.

But Daddy and Mommy just helped me get back up and on my way

I found snowballs and had fun carrying them around

I even helped Daddy clean up the snow

This gives you a better idea of what we were dealing with. Truly a winter wonderland. Merry Christmas Yall!

Mommy and Daddy's XMas Party

Mommy and Daddy went out to a work christmas party. The them was Las Vegas and they were supposed to wear costumes. So Daddy came up with this wonderful idea that thye should be slot machines. He said all the girls in his department were talking about the slotty clothes that they were going to wear so this way they would fit in. He was a cherry picker and mama was the bread winner. They had lots of fun and I had fun too hanging out with my friend Amanda.

Playing Dress Up

I'm a big girl now. Just ask me! I love dressing myself up and showing off my outfits to mommy and daddy. Then I tell them bye bye right back shopping milk. Which translates to Bye Bye I'll Be right back I'm going shopping to get milk.
