My First Beer Festival

Tour De Fat is an event every year. They have it in several cities and Flagstaff is always one of them. It's this really big thing, in the morning they ride bikes on a loop around town and then everyone meets downtown to drink beer from New Belgium Beer company listen to live music and then they have the slowest bike race. We were so excited to go but much like our other adventures things didn't go as planned. The lines were so long (hours) and it was very cold so we headed off and bar hopped and made our own beer festival!
First we went to Flag brew where we saw other folks we knew who had the same idea in mind like Andrew and Johanna, Carla and Ebby, and of course Mike and Kim were with us.
I took naps in between bars.
We also went to Mogollon, Nimarco's Pizza and Daddy and the rest of the crew finished off the night at Beaver Street's Brews and Cues while mama and I went home to bed.

New Friends are Born!!!

My new friends Darrian and Brennan Laffitte were born October 1st!
They were born by C Section and have the exact time of birth!
Mama drove me down the mountain to go visit them in the Hospital.
Auntie Kari came along too.
and Justin showed off his brothers for us.

A Day in my life

At some point in the day I always stare at that baby in the mirror. She's always there!
and I have long discussions with my pal, Freddy Froggy.
I take naps with Mommy.
and Wind down with a warm bath
That's it.

September 9, 2007

This was Mommy and Daddy's 1 year anniversary! I spent the afternoon with Grandma Sheryl and Kari and Kaci while they went out. They went and saw 3:10 to Yuma and ate at a Brewery and made it back just in time to watch the Cowboys opening season game! Mommy should get wife of the year award.
Later that evening they dove into the cake from their actual wedding. The icing was hard as a rock but they said it was pretty good.

It must have tasted allright cause they ate quite a bit.

Great Granny Cook in town!

My Great Granny Cook drove all the way from Portales New Mexico to come visit me. I had so much fun hanging out with her and Papaw Cecil. It's too bad weekends only have a couple of days.
At least we found time to cuddle up.
And I showed off my stellar dance moves. Strike a Pose!

Picnic With Daddy

Daddy works downtown near this park called Thorpe Park so one day Mommy packed us a picnic basket and met Dad at the park.
Doyle got to go too and for the most part he was good.
This is Mommy showing off her clean nose. Doesn't Daddy look sleepy? He works too hard.

Night out in the new town

Once Again I have screwed up the order of these photos, I'll have to have Daddy show me how to do this again. But this is the post of my big night out on the town with Mommy and Daddy. Daddy had heard on the radio that Creedance Clearwater was coming to play in downtown flagstaff, he thought for sure it wasn't the real CCR but maybe cover. Either way he thought it would be fun to go downtown and watch. He wanted to make sure and get there early so we would have good parking and good spots so we rushed through dinner at Taco Bell/ Long John Silvers to get there quick. While there we spoke with Grandma Sheryl who said that the actual CCR was playing the next night in Phoenix, well now we got excited thinking it might really be them. So we rush downtown and got in place. There were a bunch of kids and dogs with their parents so we fit right in. But it wasn't crowded at all. The guy below was playing and we thought he was the opening act.....till he said his name.
Everyone meet Clarence Cleerwater, Navajo Singer!!!

You can see on my face the shock and amazement!!!

This is where Daddy tried to eat my toes at Taco Bell. Silly Daddy.

Afterwards we went to Mars Hill up by the Lowell Observatory and looked at the lights of town. It was peaceful except for the couples parked up there who all thought Mommy was a peeping tom. She couldn't figure out how to turn off the flash so this light kept going off and all these couples were nervous as to what was going on.
