Night out in the new town

Once Again I have screwed up the order of these photos, I'll have to have Daddy show me how to do this again. But this is the post of my big night out on the town with Mommy and Daddy. Daddy had heard on the radio that Creedance Clearwater was coming to play in downtown flagstaff, he thought for sure it wasn't the real CCR but maybe cover. Either way he thought it would be fun to go downtown and watch. He wanted to make sure and get there early so we would have good parking and good spots so we rushed through dinner at Taco Bell/ Long John Silvers to get there quick. While there we spoke with Grandma Sheryl who said that the actual CCR was playing the next night in Phoenix, well now we got excited thinking it might really be them. So we rush downtown and got in place. There were a bunch of kids and dogs with their parents so we fit right in. But it wasn't crowded at all. The guy below was playing and we thought he was the opening act.....till he said his name.

Afterwards we went to Mars Hill up by the Lowell Observatory and looked at the lights of town. It was peaceful except for the couples parked up there who all thought Mommy was a peeping tom. She couldn't figure out how to turn off the flash so this light kept going off and all these couples were nervous as to what was going on.

Saying goodbye to friends

These are our friends Andrew and Johanna who came by to visit right before we moved. Mama says that Johanna caught the bouquet at their wedding and it must have worked cause after years of waiting patiently Andrew finally asked Johanna to marry him. Mama said it wasn't cause he didn't love her. He's just another cheap accountant like Daddy.

Oklahoma Trip

First things first, I have to apologize. All of these pictures are out of order.

The first week of September I flew out to Oak city, or Oklahoma City, to visit my Great Grandparents Cliff and Ruth and my Grandpa David.

It was a great time and I wanted to make sure I got everything so I stopped paying attention to the order. Sorry guys.

For starters this is our pseudo family member Helen. Mama jokes and says she is Great Grandpa Cliff's second wife. She lives down the street and has been very close to my Great Grandparents for years and years. She broke away from her crossword puzzles long enough to visit with me.
This is me with my Grandpa David. We had so much fun. This is a picture of him bouncing me on his belly. I thought this was hilarious.
This is a picture of me snoozing on the plane. I slept the whole way there and almost the whole way back. Mama was so proud of me.
This is my Great Grandma Ruth. She is 92 years old and still kicking.
This is another pic of me with my Grandpa. We played and played and played. He said I was the entertainment.
Mama thinks this picture is so funny cause it showed off my hairdo. Try as she might, she could not get my hair to go down. All that humidity just got to me. Grandpa said I looked like Lil from Rugrats.
This is another picture of me with my Great Grandma Ruth. I liked looking at her glasses and watching the lights shine on them.

This is my other Grandpa Kyle whom yall have already met. He got to work my first flight and give me my first wings from Southwest Airlines. All the flight attendants oohed and aahed and told jokes about Grandpa to mama and I.

Yet another picture of my Grandpa David oohing over me. Just another adult I got wrapped around my fingers.
This is my Great Grandpa Cliff who is 90 years old. He spanked my bottom just like he used to spank mama's when she was little. But I forgave him since they didn't hurt. All in all it was a great time.

Winding down at the end of a long night

After night swimming, Kari helped me get rinsed off and into some new clean clothes.

and of course Aunt Kari can't go to bed till she's got some snuggling time in. So I obliged her.

Night Swimming

After the Podany bash it was back to Grandma and Grandpa's for some night swimming!
Grandpa explained to me that I didnt' need to be afraid that it was dark cause he was going to be there. Phew!

The Grandma Show

Before we start the Grandma show I wanted to put this pic of me and my Auntie Kaci. To show that someone other than mama and Grandma held me. These pics are from Eric Podany's going away party. He went to Germany for school. I don't know where that is but I know mom and dad had been there and they are both very jealous. Whatever that means... Here starts the Grandma Show!!!
Oh yeah, and Lillie and Kristie were there too. Lillie was so funny. She kept trying to get to people's toes and was moving all over the place. One day I'll be keepin' pace with her till then back to the Grandma show...


Mommy snuck in a cuddle too. It helps that she feeds me, Grandma can't argue with that!

I am sorry that I am so behind on blogging. Mommy and Daddy keep dragging me here and there and taking pictures but between naps and outings I really haven't had time to blog. So slowly but surely I will get caught up. You won't believe how much I've grown. Stay tuned...
