Chilli Cook Off 08

Daddy said Look Kayla Santa is coming....
And there he was!

I wasn't quite sure what to make of this man....

No Daddy really.....

I said NO!
(even if my Auntie Kaci is the elf)
Mama thank goodness you saved me.

Wait, He gives out toys? Well I guess he's alright...

Back to visiting with family. That's what the chilli cook off is all about. Here is mama, dada, and I with Richard the Great and Marianne.

Thanksgiving 08

These are my aunties Jo Jo and Kaci on Thanksgiving.
We had all gone to eat at a restaurant that had a mining theme. Supposedly the mountains that it was by have lost gold in them. Auntie Jo Jo was ready to go look. and Yes doesn't Robin look gorgeous sitting front and center.

Here's Harry and Pa acting like they are having an intelligent conversation.

Daddy introduced me to this old indian....

Mama met him too.

Then for some reason Grandma broke out in song

Mama will have to teach her how to read

Daddy said Mama almost made the cut

Granny Mac and Daddy Joe come to visit

Granny Mac and Daddy Joe came to town to visit. Well they drove through town and stopped by.
If we all looked bug eyed it is because it took us like ten tries to get this picture to come out

We had time to have a quick lunch with Daddy on his lunch break

and play with some toys before they headed off.
Short but sweet!

McKenna's Party

This is mama and me at my friend McKenna's 2nd Birthday party.
We ate lots of goodies.....

and helped break in some of the toys.....

This is the gift we got McKenna. She is not the one holding the gift that is her Mommy, Jannie.
We had so much fun, thanks for having us!

21 Week Appointment

This is us at Mama's 21 week belly appointment. Where we found out that we are having a boy!!! Mama is holding up a picture of his boy parts. whatever those are. I wonder where my boy parts are.....Mama tried to scan the pictures on to the computer for me to share with you guys but there is a user error she called it. We'll try again later!

Halloween 08

For Halloween Mama and I got all dressed up and went to the park where the city was putting on a big to do. It was so much fun. Elmo was running all over the place and I found this large teddy bear. I wanted him to go with us but he had to stay.

This is a better picture of the two of us.

This is the pumpkin Mama carved for Halloween. Like always she went all out. and then she roased the seeds which Dada loves but I wasn't fond of.

This is us on the train! I look miserable but I loved it. It's almost a month later and I still talk about it all the time!

This is the train. The picture looks weird cause mama took thepicture while we were on it.

These pictures are backwards but still fun. This was me playing with some of the props they had for the little kids.

This was me working up the courage to go in.

We had such a good time then afterwards we met Dada downtown and went to his friend's house for a party. Then I crashed. No tears and no fussing I was ready for bed!

Halloween Cookie Making Party

I went to a Cookie making party with some of my friends. This is Mrs. Mari helping me cut out a pumpkin.
Hmmm....now what

Ava was more into toys

And I was more into the slide!

But hey this icing is pretty yummy....

Ava only ate her icing!

This is all of us getting ready to decorate all those cookies.

Snack time. we love our grapes.

Just making cookies....

This is me trying to get undressed by myself. I was more than ready to be done with those itchy feathers!

Ava was done with her costume too. She was ready to eat!

This was me and the other chicken, Benjamin, at the party.

This is the whole crew chowing down. Those cookies were so yummy! Thank you Mrs. Kris for having us over and showing Mommy that yes I can help make cookies!
