Mother's Day 08

For Mother's Day, Daddy got Mama this cool hiking back pack.
And since it was Mother's Day he carried it for her. I did not know what to think at first!
But then we kept walking and I saw all these cool things.
After I calmed down I realized that I liked this hiking stuff
Yeah snack time!
Yummy

Isn't my daddy the strongest man in the world?
He showed me how this rock would crumble.
Then I showed Mama
I just loved how the rock crumbled in my hands!
Doyle crumbled his fare share of rocks too
Then a quick nap before we drove back to town and out to dinner.

10 months and counting

Yea! I am 10 months and counting. I have four teeth, two on bottom and two on top (poor mama). I have been crawling for a while now, so that's old news, but now i am trying to walk. I can go a couple feet real good. The other day I went between 10-15 feet while mama held her breath. I was so excited afterwards i just laughed and giggled while landing on my butt. if you ask me what the cow says i say "oooo" and the sheep "aaaaa" which is close enough to make mama and daddy laugh and clap. I clap all the time. I also do signs. I do milk (that's my favorite sign), duck, hat, fish, bird and horse. All exciitng stuff. I change pretty fast now. Here are some random photos we have taken the last couple of months.
mama and i with out matching pig tails.
Daddy walking downtown to meet us.
Mama tried to get a good photo of me with this blanket Nanny had made for me, but I wouldn't sit still so she has given up.
There was just too much going on.
This is mama's first sewing project on her new machine. it is supposed to be a baby sling. It is cut all wrong, but it still works for just hanging on her hip and freeing up her hands.
This was me learning to use a spoon. mama has given up on baby food though i eat finger foods now.

These are some elk that visited us earlier this spring.
And here are some deer that stopped by too. They were a lot of fun, cause they kept coming and going which made Doyle excited and he barked and barked.
Bath time is still one of my favorite activities.
Daddy and I tried to play it cool but we're so hot that mama melted.

Practicing walking is hard work. Sometimes you fall flat on your face!
Reading is one of my favorite past times.
I also love watching my Suns play basketball! Too bad they are out of the playoffs. We'll miss you D'antoni
Got milk?

Sedona with Jen

Mama and her best friend from high school Jen and I went to Sedona to relax.
We hiked down to the creek and watched Doyle swim around.
He was having lots of fun.
and I did too. although the water was too cold for me.
But there were lots of pretty big red rocks to look at.

Kite Festival

We went to the Annual Kite Fesitval to kick off the windy season. There were so many families and things to see and do.
Mama showed me all the kites and was so busy having fun that she forgot to get pictures of the kites.
Mostly we just hung out.
Daddy was a great pusher, he pushed further and harder than mama
See?
And he took me on the pony ride. Not the actual pony ride. We had a free ticket to do that but they were little ponies, too small for mama to ride with me and to big for me to ride by myself.

Ava's 1st Bday Party!

On April 23rd my friend Ava turned 1 year old! This is her and her Daddy, Brian
Didn't she look pretty on her bday?

I helped mama wrap this one for her
and helped ava on wrap it!

Easter

This was my first easter so I wanted to make sure I looked cool
and pretty
Hey put this back on me for my close up...
I am going to eat what? eggs? what are those?
Daddy got home just in time to eat Jello Eggs with us. They were delicious! See his lips are red
and mine too
and my tongue
and mama's tongue!

Swim Classes!

These are pictures from our first swimming class. Daddy came and took photos and mama got in the water.
Okay this isn't so bad
Here we all are, mama and Anna and me and Ava.
I tried my best, but my butt kept floating to the top.
But there were lots of laughs
and kicks
and more laughs
and hugs to keep warm

Now it looks like they stopped there, but no they dunked us completely!
But then they kissed it better.
