First I had to get all cleaned up for the big day
Then Great Granny Mac and I played with Doyle while the rest got situated
You see Grandpa's goal was to do 50 new things in his 50th year. So we thought we'd help him out
So while everyone got ready for the main surprise, we took him on a bunch of little ones.
We all got together to wish him well on his adventures
and carefully guided him to the car
with a few pit stops along the way
So off to his first adventure for the day....
What are we doing at McDonalds?
First time playing with me at a park(indoor park anyways)
I had to explain to him how it all works
Then it was off to read books for the first time. We brought a Tom Sawyer book. Doesn't Grandpa looks so scholarly just like Mark Twain?
It wasn't Grandpa who scared me, but that crazy ole coot sitting next to us. look at him staring at our book.
Good thing mama was there to protect me.
Then it was Bobo's turn to entertain for awhile.
Grandpa waving at ....nobody?
He looks like he's done this before. But he said he hadn't. So off to his first Pedicure
aaahhh, relaxing

Daddy says it's payback ole man

This is little mama, Kim. of course she was trying to hide it from us by wearing this big shirt but Daddy wasn't fooled or surprised when she told us couple weeks later.

Grandpa looks good in Sara's bird bra, but all he can think about is Sue's burger...yum.
The crazy Scotts and Christensens were there of course.
and poor Grandpa, we wore him out!
And Grandma was so tired the next morning I had to help her brush her teeth.
But Grandpa did get the coolest balloons.
Hey give that back to me!
Mama didn't want to get her photo taken, but haha we got her!

now those are a set of lemons
