Labor started at 5:20 p.m. when the doctor broke the bag of waters. The whole process from start to finish took around 11 hours and little miss Kayla was born at 4: 28 a.m. on Wednesday June 20th. Mom and Dad got their first break as family and friends gathered around to hold her for the first time...

Kayla,
You are precious! We are so excited to get to see pictures of you and can't wait until we can hold you! I'm way too young to be a great aunt (unlike my sisters), but so proud to be your great aunt! Can hardly wait to see you.
Love,
Great Aunt Steph
Kayla: You are beautiful,,our first great grandbaby and when we saw your picture the first time it brought tears to our eyes. We are so thankful for you and pray that God will bless you and your mom and dad. We cannot wait to come and see you. See you real soon. We Love You. and yes you do look like your dad in one of those pictures. We'll tell you all about your dad when he was born when we see you. Granny Mac and Daddy Joe
Wow....can't believe you two are parents! Life is crazy. Oh, well I am sure you will both be 2 of the best parents. I can't believe you do not have that Phil Vasser song on here..."Just Another Day in Paradise." Chad, ever since that song has come out, I think of you. I don't know, it just makes since. Well enjoy your beautiful daughter and your beautiful family. Hope to visit you all soon, once everyone is settled.
Love,
Landell
Kayla you are such a beautiful addition to your mommy and daddy's lives. We can't wait to meet you! Until then, do what babies do best - eat, sleep, poop, and make your parents laugh and cry with joy.
Much love,
