Parents Post

Sophie and I want to say hello and thank you to everyone. We appreciate you stopping by to meet and leave Kayla messages. When Kayla turns one we are planning to turn this blog into a book. Any post that you leave will stay with Kayla the rest of her life! We especially need to say thank you to Kristie and Jason Scott. The idea for this blog came from a blog they started for their daughter Lillie. She is a total cutie pie! We have included a link to their site in Kayla's favorite links.

Sophie and I have been really fortunate to have shared countless amazing experiences over the past 8 years! We've traveled through 11 countries togehter, spent 6 years in college opening doors in our mind we never knew were closed, and raised the best dog the world has ever seen. But without a doubt the last week has been the best week of our lives! Kayla keeps us in a constant state of awe. She toots and we laugh. She potties and right after we change her diaper, and I mean seconds later, she goes again. We think it is hilarious! And if anyone knows a doctor that can surgically remove cameras from hands please pass on the contact info. I can't put ours down.

Please keep stopping by and leaving messages. Our plan is to spoil her rotten but we need everyone's help :) On a closing note, I just couldn't make a post and not include a picture!

Chad and Sophie you have a beautiful young girl and I know she will turn out to be a great young woman. She is already a great young girl and have awesome parents to help her grow. Think of the song "Ob-La-Di,Ob-La-Da." by the Beatles and instead of using Desmond and Molly Jones just insert Chad and Sophie McCutchen. Love youguys and I am so happy for the arrival of Kayla to the McCutchen Family.

We are so happy for you. Kayla is beautiful (like there was a chance she wouldn't be). I am happy you are blogging, I think I may be addicted. It's good to hear you are taking lots of pictures.

Wow Chad! You guys look great. I have to say that I like the McCutchen family all the more now that you have little Kayla.

Kayla, just be patient with Daddy. He will start to grow on you after a year or two.

Hey Little One,
You are currently making little old woman faces right now, I think it's the lack of teeth, not your fault at all. Don't worry, your still gorgeous. I keep making plans for when you're old enough to do this, or when you are that age but I must say I you really melt my heart as small and cute as you are right now. Seeing as how I can't really sing I'll make you a promise right now, that although I won't sing you lullabies I will always read you as many bedtime stories as your little heart desires. Deal?
